Cristian Taveras

Dr. Cristian Taveras is the president of the Valverde chapter of the Dominican Medical Association (CMD). He has been actively vocal about the critical conditions at the Hospital Materno Infantil José Francisco Peña Gómez in Mao, where he highlighted the lack of a functional maternal intensive care unit (UCI) and other essential medical equipment, advocating for urgent improvements to the healthcare facility.
