Cristian Turrini

Cristian Turrini is a former director of the TV Pública in Paraguay who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his involvement in the preparation for the export of nearly 3,000 kilograms of cocaine seized at the Terport Private Port in Villeta in October 2020. Recently, he was in the news due to health concerns while incarcerated, as he was transferred to the Hospital de Barrio Obrero after experiencing symptoms such as weakness and nausea, although officials later ruled out poisoning as a cause.
