Cristina Chamorro

Cristina Chamorro is the daughter of Violeta Barrios de Chamorro, who served as Nicaragua's president from 1990 to 1997. Following her mother's death, Cristina, alongside her siblings, stated that their mother's remains would be kept in Costa Rica until the country achieves democracy, reflecting the family's resilience amid the political turmoil in Nicaragua under Ortega's regime.
