
Cristina Sánchez López
Cristina Sánchez López is a Spanish linguist and professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, recognized for her extensive research in the fields of Spanish grammar and syntax. Born in 1966, she has been elected as a member of the Royal Spanish Academy to fill the vacant chair 'p' left by the late Francisco Rico. Her academic contributions include coordinating the revised edition of the 'Nueva gramática de la lengua española' and leading various projects aimed at enhancing the teaching of Spanish grammar. As a prominent figure in the study of the Spanish language, she has published numerous articles and participated in international research initiatives.
