The Cruz Roja Guatemalteca, or Guatemalan Red Cross, is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical services and disaster relief in Guatemala. They play a critical role in responding to health emergencies and offering prehospital care, as seen recently when they attended to a police officer injured during clashes between demonstrators and the police over mandatory vehicle insurance.
