Curra
Curra was a southern white rhinoceros who served as a surrogate mother for an in vitro fertilization (IVF) project aimed at saving the critically endangered northern white rhinoceros. Unfortunately, she passed away due to illness caused by bacterial exposure, but her pregnancy was deemed successful as a 70-day-old fetus was found during the autopsy.
