Cyril Munasinghe

Cyril Munasinghe is a former chairman of the Belihuloya local council in Sri Lanka, who has been accused of misappropriating over 36 million Sri Lankan Rupees during his tenure. He served as a councilor for 32 years and was the chairman from 2012 to 2023. Munasinghe is currently facing investigation by the bribery commission for the unexplained accumulation of assets and has been remanded until the 22nd of this month.
