Damyan Iliev

Damyan Iliev is an architect from Skopje, currently working with the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) based in Chicago. He was recently in the news for his participation as a guest lecturer at the forum 'Leaders Who Build' at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, where he discussed his firm's winning project for a large site near the Russian Monument in Sofia. The project involves preserving a historic factory while creating a residential complex that integrates ecological features and water elements, aiming to revive the lost ecological heritage of the area.
