Dan Marino is a retired American football quarterback who played 17 seasons for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. Widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. Marino was known for his quick release and powerful arm, finishing his career among the top ten in all-time passing yards and touchdowns. In 2007, he was diagnosed with Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Steatosis Hepatitis (MASH), commonly known as fatty liver disease, and has since used his platform to raise awareness about the condition and promote the importance of early detection and healthy lifestyle choices.
