Dan Marke

Dan Marke is a paleobiologist at the University of Bristol, known for his contributions to the study of ancient reptiles. He was part of the research team that discovered the oldest known ancestor of lizards, a small creature named Agriodontosaurus helsbypetrae, which lived during the Middle Triassic period in what is now southwest England. His work has provided new insights into the evolution of lepidosaurs, which include modern lizards and snakes.
