Dana Sofronie

Dana Sofronie is a retired Romanian gymnast who gained fame after winning a gold medal with her team at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Despite her athletic success, she faced significant personal challenges, including a long battle with depression that began in childhood. After retiring from gymnastics in 2005, she sought treatment for her mental health struggles and has since become a vocal advocate for mental health awareness.
