Danang Pamuji

Danang Pamuji is the Head of the Observation Division at the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in Jayapura, Indonesia. He has been actively involved in monitoring seismic activities and issuing tsunami warnings for the region, particularly following significant earthquakes. Recently, he raised the tsunami alert status for Jayapura in response to an 8.7 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Russia, emphasizing the need for community awareness and preparedness against potential tsunami threats.
