Dane Wairangi Manuera Koopu
Dane Wairangi Manuera Koopu is a former professional rugby league player from New Zealand, known for his time with the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL from 1999 to 2008, where he played 159 games. He also represented New Zealand at the international level, playing for the Kiwis three times and the New Zealand Māori rugby league team on four occasions. Koopu was part of the Warriors' squad during their 2002 NRL Grand Final appearance. After leaving the Warriors, he had a brief stint with the Melbourne Storm in 2009, contributing to the team's efforts in the NRL before their title was stripped due to salary cap violations.
