Danie Kiptoo

Danie Kiptoo is the Director General of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) in Kenya. He plays a crucial role in overseeing the regulatory framework for energy trade in the region, facilitating agreements between utilities for cross-border electricity imports. Kiptoo has been instrumental in the operationalization of the East African Power Pool, which aims to enhance energy trade and infrastructure among East African countries.
