Daniel Esquivel
Daniel Esquivel was a Paraguayan catechist and electrician who became a victim of Argentina's military dictatorship. He disappeared at the age of 32 on February 2, 1977, when he was forcibly taken from his home by military personnel. After nearly fifty years of searching, his family celebrated the identification of his remains, which were found in a mass grave in Lomas de Zamora, a testament to the ongoing efforts of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF) and his twin sister, Genoveva Esquivel, who tirelessly pursued answers about his fate.
