Daniel Felipe Arias

Daniel Felipe Arias was a professor at the Universidad Alexander von Humboldt in Armenia, Colombia. He tragically lost his life in a bus accident on May 24, 2023, while returning from a field practice with his civil engineering students. Before the accident occurred, he urgently warned his students to brace themselves as the bus experienced brake failure while descending the Helicoidal Bridge. His quick thinking and dedication to his students were evident in his final moments, as he sought to alert them to the impending danger.
