Daniel Núñez

Daniel Núñez is a retired rear admiral who has recently been appointed as the president of the Uruguayan Antarctic Institute. His leadership aims to elevate the strategic importance of the Institute and enhance its operational capabilities. He has also been designated as an advisor to the Ministry of Defense, a role that allows him to contribute to multiple defense initiatives while working on the urgent challenges facing the Antarctic sector.
