Daniel Prodan
Daniel "Didi" Prodan was a Romanian footballer born on March 23, 1972, in Satu Mare. He began his professional career with Olimpia Satu Mare before moving to Steaua București, where he won five Romanian championships and was instrumental in Romania's qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Prodan played for several clubs, including Atletico Madrid and Glasgow Rangers, but his career was marred by injuries. He passed away from a heart attack at the young age of 44 on November 16, 2016.
