
Daniel Rockhouse
Daniel Rockhouse is a New Zealand miner who survived the Pike River mine disaster in November 2010, where he was one of only two survivors after an explosion killed 29 men, including his brother Ben. Rockhouse was awarded a New Zealand Bravery Medal in 2015 for his heroic actions during the disaster. Recently, he made headlines after being convicted of assaulting his uncle during a family dispute at a funeral.
