Daniel Wigdor

Daniel Wigdor is a computer science professor at the University of Toronto and a prominent figure in the field of human-computer interaction. He co-founded Axl, a venture studio aimed at launching 50 artificial intelligence companies in Canada over five years, in order to combat the brain drain of talent to foreign tech giants. Wigdor advocates for leveraging Canadian academic research to create innovative AI applications that benefit the local economy and retain entrepreneurial talent.
