Daniele Rotanzi

Daniele Rotanzi is the lead organiser of a popular annual football tournament held at Campo Draione in the Maggia valley, Switzerland. In June 2024, he found himself in a life-threatening situation when a severe thunderstorm led to flash floods and landslides during the tournament. As an actuary by profession, he was faced with making critical decisions to ensure the safety of hundreds of attendees amidst the chaos of the storm.
