Danielle Dick

Dr. Danielle Dick is the director of the Rutgers Addiction Research Center and a professor of psychiatry at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her work focuses on the genetic and environmental factors influencing addiction, particularly in relation to alcohol use. She studies how individual differences in brain reward and risk processing can lead to varying patterns of alcohol consumption, contributing to a deeper understanding of why some individuals develop alcohol use disorders while others do not.
