Danka Ivanović is a Montenegrin author and translator, born in 1988 in Cetinje. She holds a master's degree in French language and literature from the University of Belgrade and the University of Louvain, and is currently pursuing her PhD in literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Her debut novel, "Prazne kuće" (Empty Houses), has garnered significant attention for its exploration of themes surrounding loss, female identity, and the struggle for authorship in a patriarchal society. The novel has been nominated for the prestigious Nin Award for Novel of the Year, highlighting its impact and recognition within the literary community.
