Danny Mass

Danny Mass was a prominent figure in the early years of Israel, known for his role as a young commander in the Palmach during the 1948 War of Independence. He led forces in the Gush Etzion area and commanded the ill-fated convoy of the 'Lahav' brigade, symbolizing the sacrifices made by many of his generation for the establishment of the State of Israel.
