Dante Lauretta is a professor of planetary science and cosmochemistry at the University of Arizona, Tucson. He is a coauthor of the recent study on Bennu samples that found tryptophan and has been instrumental in the OSIRIS-REx mission, which successfully returned pristine material from the asteroid to Earth for analysis.
