Dany Thielen is the spokesperson for the Centre des technologies de l‘information de l‘État (CTIE) in Luxembourg, which manages a significant number of computers for various ministries and authorities. In recent months, she has been instrumental in overseeing the migration of Windows 10 computers to the newer Windows 11 operating system, ensuring that all compatible devices are updated before the support deadline for Windows 10. Thielen has highlighted the challenges faced by the CTIE, particularly regarding the 1,500 computers that could not be upgraded, and the measures taken to maintain security through Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates Program.
