
Danylo Makarenko
Danylo Makarenko is a 24-year-old Ukrainian ice hockey goaltender who recently signed with the professional team Sokol. A product of the Dniprovskyi Vovky youth system, he gained experience playing in Slovakia and later in Canada before debuting in adult hockey with the Kyiv Ice Wolves. Makarenko has had a successful career thus far, contributing to his teams with notable performances, including helping the Ukrainian student national team win bronze at the World University Games. He previously played for Kremenchuk, where he earned silver medals in the Ukrainian championship, and most recently represented Kryzhynka.
