Dara Neary

Dara Neary is a special educational needs teacher from Carrigaline, Co Cork, who is advocating for better educational access for children with special needs, including her own son Richie. Facing the challenges of securing a school placement for Richie, who has complex medical issues, she has organized a 24-hour sleep-out protest in front of the Department of Education in Dublin, highlighting the systemic failures that leave many children without appropriate educational options.
