Darius Unwala

Dr. Darius Unwala was a highly esteemed urologist from The Bahamas, renowned for his contributions to the medical field and particularly for his work in advancing the treatment of kidney and urology-related conditions. He became the first Bahamian to hold a senior position at the Glickman Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he aimed to leverage his knowledge to benefit his home country. Tragically, Dr. Unwala passed away from prostate cancer, a disease he dedicated his career to understanding and combating, underscoring the importance of early detection and awareness among men regarding their health.
