Darko Ivančević

Darko Ivančević is a Serbian baker and the owner of Focca & Giba, a popular focaccia shop in Bratislava. After a long career as a hairdresser, he transitioned to baking following a burnout, driven by a lifelong dream of opening a bakery. Darko, who has lived in Slovakia for 33 years, adapts his Italian focaccia recipes to suit local tastes, blending Italian and Slovak ingredients. His shop has gained rapid popularity, often selling out due to word-of-mouth and social media, and he is known for his warm, engaging personality and commitment to quality food.
