Darwin Choqueribe is the spokesperson for Alianza Popular in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. He is currently in the news for stating that Andrónico Rodríguez, the President of the Senate, will not be a candidate for the Movement for Socialism – Political Instrument for the Sovereignty of the Peoples (MAS-IPSP) or the arcista faction, as his political team is formulating a new strategy following the annulment of the MTS, which was originally set to support his candidacy.
