Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abd. Samad is the President of the Putrajaya Badminton Association and has expressed interest in contesting for the presidency of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM). His intentions to enter the election have added an element of uncertainty to Tengku Zafrul's candidacy as the AGM approaches.
