Dave Ball

Dave Ball was a British musician best known as the keyboardist of the influential synth-pop duo Soft Cell, which he formed with vocalist Marc Almond in 1979. The duo gained international fame with their iconic hit 'Tainted Love,' which topped charts worldwide in 1981 and remains a defining track of the genre. Ball's innovative use of synthesizers and electronic sounds helped shape the music landscape of the 1980s and inspired countless artists, including the Pet Shop Boys.
