David Heinemeier Hansson

David Heinemeier Hansson is a Danish software engineer and entrepreneur, best known for creating the popular web application framework Ruby on Rails. He is also a co-founder of the software company Basecamp and an advocate for open-source software. Recently, he has been in the news for expressing concerns over Denmark's collaboration with American tech companies, particularly regarding data privacy and security implications, as the country deploys American-made saildrones for maritime surveillance in the Baltic Sea.
