David Mearns

David Mearns is a seasoned shipwreck explorer and marine archaeologist known for his expertise in locating and documenting historic shipwrecks. As the Search Director for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, he plays a pivotal role in underwater exploration, most recently participating in the expedition to film the wrecks of Sir Ernest Shackleton's and Captain Robert Falcon Scott's final ships. Mearns aims to create high-resolution, three-dimensional images of these significant vessels, which symbolize the heroic age of polar exploration.
