Dean Corll, infamously known as the 'Candy Man,' was a Houston-based serial killer who, in the early 1970s, tortured and murdered at least 28 boys and young men. Corll lured his victims under the guise of offering them employment opportunities, exploiting their vulnerability. He was eventually killed by his teenage accomplice, Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., leading to the discovery of numerous bodies and the unraveling of his heinous crimes.
