Déborah Kam

Déborah Kam serves as the Gender Officer for the Regional Support Project for Pastoralism in the Sahel phase 2 (PRAPS 2-BF) in Burkina Faso. She is dedicated to enhancing the resilience of pastoral and agro-pastoral households, with a focus on integrating vulnerable populations, particularly women and youth, into development initiatives. Kam presented at a panel discussion during the International Day of Rural Women, where she discussed the project's achievements in promoting social and economic inclusion for women and young people, and the issuance of identification documents to support their legal recognition and empowerment.
