Deckey Chandra

Deckey Chandra is a humanitarian worker who has been actively involved in the conservation of Tapanuli orangutans in Indonesia. Recently, he was in the news for discovering a carcass believed to be that of a Tapanuli orangutan in the aftermath of Cyclone Senyar, which caused severe flooding and landslides in the region, raising concerns about the survival of this critically endangered species.
