Dedrick Smith

Dedrick Smith, a 47-year-old man from Byndloss district in St Catherine, was recently in the news after being accused of land fraud. He is charged with obtaining money by means of false pretence for allegedly selling land he does not own, collecting $1.5 million from a woman who believed she was purchasing a lot. Smith has been granted $500,000 bail with surety and is set to return to court on October 21.
