Deepak Obhrai
Deepak Obhrai was a prominent Canadian politician and a long-serving Member of Parliament representing Calgary East. First elected in 1997, he served with the Reform Party, Canadian Alliance, and Conservative Party, becoming known for his commitment to public service and community engagement. He was the longest continuously serving Conservative MP at the time of his death in 2019, and his legacy continues to influence Canadian politics through his daughter, Priti Obhrai-Martin.
