Deepak Purohit

Deepak Purohit is a senior officer in the Delhi Police, currently serving as the Joint Commissioner of Police. He has been in the news for overseeing the police response during a recent protest by opposition MPs from the INDIA bloc, where they were detained while marching towards the Election Commission headquarters to protest against alleged voter fraud and the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
