Defne Aslan

Defne Aslan is a 10th-grade student at Darüşşafaka High School who has also been awarded the 'Sixth Form Bursary' to study at Marlborough College in England, starting in the 2026-2027 academic year. Her acceptance into the program, alongside her classmate Belinay, is a historic achievement as it marks the first time the school has offered scholarships to non-British students. Defne's aspirations include pursuing higher education at prestigious institutions such as MIT or Caltech after her time at Marlborough.
