
Dejan Čavić
Dejan Čavić was a prominent Serbian actor and director, best known for his role in the beloved television series 'Bolji život.' He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Belgrade in 1955 and became a permanent member of the Atelje 212 ensemble in 1961, where he worked until his retirement in 1996. Over his career, Čavić performed in over 100 theater roles, appeared in more than 20 films and television productions, and contributed significantly to radio drama with over 300 performances. He was also a skilled translator, translating over 30 plays from English and published several books and essays on theater. Čavić was recognized for his contributions to the arts with the prestigious vanredna Sterijina nagrada for the culture of stage speech. His legacy continues to resonate with audiences, particularly for his memorable portrayal of an investigator in 'Bolji život.'
