
Dejan Milovanović
Dejan Milovanović was a Serbian professional footballer born on January 21, 1984, in Belgrade. He began his career in the youth ranks of Red Star Belgrade and made his first-team debut in 2001. Known for his leadership on the field, he served as the captain of Red Star, leading the team to three national championships and four domestic cup titles. In 2008, he transferred to French club Lens, and later played for Panionios in Greece from 2011 to 2013, before finishing his career at Voždovac in 2014. Milovanović also represented Serbia at various youth levels, earning 23 caps and scoring six goals for the U21 team, and he played two matches for the senior national team. Tragically, he passed away during a veterans' match on September 18, 2023, at the age of 41.
