Delia Dávila Vigil

Delia Dávila Vigil is the Director General of Digemid (Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas) in Peru, responsible for overseeing the regulation and safety of medications and health products. Recently, she played a crucial role in the response to a contamination incident involving the sedative Edetoxin, which was linked to an outbreak of infections caused by the bacterium Ralstonia pickettii. Under her leadership, Digemid has been actively involved in the mobilization of affected medication and ensuring the recovery of contaminated products from health facilities.
