
Demba Sowe
Demba Sowe is a seasoned law enforcement leader from The Gambia, who has recently been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police. With a career in the Gambia Police Force that began in 1985, he has held various significant positions, including Officer Commanding and Commissioner of several divisions. Sowe holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Barrister-at-Law qualification, enhancing his expertise in law enforcement. He has also represented The Gambia in international peacekeeping missions, notably in Sierra Leone. His promotion is a recognition of his extensive service, leadership, and commitment to advancing a professional police force.
