Denis Costa da Cruz

Denis Costa da Cruz is a subintendente with the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP) in Portugal, recognized for his role in leading the investigation into the violent incidents during the extraordinary assembly of FC Porto on November 13, 2023. He described a climate of fear and coercion surrounding the event, which involved assaults on club members. Following the assembly, he faced threats to his life and is currently under protection due to serious security risks. Costa da Cruz has been instrumental in the ongoing Operation Pretoriano, which seeks to address the intimidation and violence reportedly orchestrated by members of the Super Dragões, the club's supporters group.
