Denise Ruggeri

Denise Ruggeri was a 47-year-old Italian tourist from L'Aquila who tragically lost her life in a boating accident on the Nile while on vacation with her husband. The incident occurred when two cruise ships collided, resulting in significant damage and several destroyed cabins. Following the accident, the Egyptian General Authority for River Transport attributed responsibility to the captain of the ship on which she was traveling, leading to legal proceedings to determine further accountability.
