Denisse Azucena Miralles

Denisse Azucena Miralles has been appointed as the new Minister of Economy and Finance of Peru, succeeding Raúl Pérez Reyes, amidst significant governmental changes following the vacancy of Dina Boluarte. Miralles, who previously served as the Deputy Minister of Economy earlier this year and is currently the Director of Decentralized Investments at ProInversión, brings over 16 years of experience in public sector economics, with a strong focus on fiscal decentralization and public-private investments. She holds a degree in economics from the National University of Engineering and a master's degree in Public Policy and Taxation from Yokohama National University in Japan.
