Dennis Tink Bell
Dennis 'Tink' Bell was a British meteorologist who tragically lost his life at the age of 25 during an exploratory mission to Antarctica in 1959. He was part of a research team working for a polar research institute, aiming to conduct scientific studies in the region. On July 26, 1959, while attempting to climb a glacier with three other men, Bell fell into a crevasse, and his body was never recovered at the time. After 66 years, his remains were discovered in a melting glacier, confirmed through genetic testing conducted in January 2023.
